Ener-Core is a recognized leader in clean power generation from waste gas. There is an immediate need for a self-motivated, sales & marketing oriented individual who is equally comfortable leading sales presentations to large multinational customers, performing technical analyses, or creating marketing content. The ideal candidate can work with all levels and groups within an organization and can adapt according to the company, country and individual. The position is integral to the sales effort and will allow the chosen person to interact, learn and work directly with Ener-Core’s highly experienced management team.
Responsibilities: (70% sales/30% marketing)
Applicants should consider the responsibilities listed below as a starting point and are expected to transition into a direct sales role with end customers as they develop within the organization.
• Work closely with internal team, distributors, and sales agents to communicate progress, report project status and track in Ener-Core’s internal sales tools
• Expand sales pipeline through analysis of industry databases, and news & media research
• Tradeshow and conference development including attending and organizing calendars
• Work with internal team to write proposals, produce presentations, and create project analyses
• Write both technical and generic articles discussing Ener-Core’s technology to be published in various media outlets
• Work with internal and external marketing teams to create marketing content and strategy
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns
• Maintain and grow web based media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIN, Youtube,etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
• 4 year degree in engineering, business or environment
• 3 years working experience in sales, marketing or financial analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites
• Basic energy and/or environmental industry knowledge (power generation, emissions, etc.)
• Comfortable working flexible schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in sales of power generation equipment (engines, turbines, etc.), environmental solutions or air pollution control technology
• Ability to strategically think and analyze the needs of clients.
• Fluent in language other than English (Spanish preferred)
• Proven track record in high productivity and meeting deadlines.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and ability to work w/websites
• Advanced level of proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation tools.
• Excellent business sense, problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in marketing content creation
Individual will be located at Ener-Core’s headquarters in Irvine, CA. Initially limited travel of 25% or less with increased travel up to 50% required as individual shows growth with position.
